BU track athlete says he's the one that called in ICE raid on Allston car wash

We don't need to import people to work at car washes. These are jobs that can and are be done by American high school or college students. This isn't a proverbial "job Americans won't do." Sounds like a shady business owner trying to undercut American workers with cheap illegal labor.

BTW if you're actually a legal guest worker you should always have your legal documentation with you when you're at work, that's the whole point of said documentation. Just like you should carry your driver's license when you drive a car.

Worked during the summer before my junior year on a potato/corn farm and the summer before my senior year roofing. I can speak from experience that you're not going to find a ton of Americans that want to work those jobs. Beats the piss out of you day in and day out for very little pay/reward. I get your argument but if you've worked a manual labor job you'd understand that there isn't an endless line of guys willing to work those jobs.

He literally wants BU to force the other students to like him.

Tell you what, you want other people to like you, then don't go spewing political positions they find abhorrent. Doesn't mean you have to change your personal philosophy... just don't talk politics! I do it every single time I visit my parents and extended family!

Now president of the BU College Republicans and member of the track team Zac Segal is boasting that he'd been calling ICE for months to raid the place, based on his racial profiling hunch. He's actually pissed they didn't act sooner.

He even had the gall to write this, as if he wasn't just some itinerant student meddling in locals' affairs: “As someone who lives in the neighborhood, I’ve seen how American jobs are being given away to those with no right to be here.”
