he can't time trial and I think he's the most outspoken anti-time trialist athlete I've ever heard (I'm a CCP listener). he's fast enough to get DL steeple invites when healthy, but he doesn't do well there because they're paced and usually under 8:10. So when championships ("big events") roll around and the whole T&F world realizes that champs are actual races, everyone forgets that George is one of the best racers in the world. Grand Slam would suit him perfectly - he's a big fan of the format and was probably going to do the LA meet.

Ramsden left them. Besides Nuguse no one is turning in any special performances. Monson is running her first race in a long time soon. Can’t see her getting back to her glory days at this point. Markezich races are nothing to write home about. Hurta as well. The others are all injured or recovering.

Thanks. I was afraid of that. Any word on Romo? I was sure he was going to be great after his breakout college season and then his performance at Worlds. Talking about Beamish, I was surprised to see him go straight to the back in Rabat and Stockholm after winning WC's last season. If it goes slower (8:10-8:15), he'll be able to kick like mad to be in it. However, if it's fast from the gun, he's going to be kicking for 6th in DL's/championships- why does he do that? Looking forward to seeing what Robinson can do today!
