And if hurdles were raised to 33 & 36" (100H, 400H), 30 & 33" should remain as HS heights.
Don't need girls falling in hurdle races (it would happen).

When is WA going to move it to 33"? - long overdue. Make it a real hurdles race. Before
next year, so they'll have 3 yrs to get used to it before LA 2028. Also, move 100H to 36".
Equally overdue! The old 30" & 33" lists would be kept with the new, two columns, with an accurate, fair conversion factor that all the experts(& hurdlers) can agree on.

I know the hurdles are shorter than the men’s but this is probably as good as Marita Koch’s 47.60, don’t you think? I don’t mean that Sydney can run 47.60 but her 400h is as good.
Remarkable. I think she is great but if she were Chinese or anything non-western European (Dutch, Brit, German ...) these headlines would be quite different.

Femke is 5'11" and she's 5'9". Both tall compared to avg woman.
The best hurdlers are usually tall. Even the best steeplers are tall. That Moroccon steepler is 6'3". Girma is 6'2".
Femke is not 5'11", she is almost 6'1"
Kersee the Chemist has all the info you need.
Easy, they're only 30" tall. A little over knee high. Women are not hurdling at all. They're stepping over them.
Its so bad that WA is considering moving them up, as should've been done decades ago.

The best steeplechasers are tiny little waifs.
