never ran 1500 or 800! i tend to be worse the shorter the distance is, so i’ve never tried. maybe i should though.
for what you said about 18:30 for a 10:30: i know girls who i beat all the time in cross country that destroy me in the 3k and 1500. some people are disproportionately a lot better at track. i know a 20:30 girl (we raced 3 times during xc, i was always 30 secs-min ahead) who runs a 10:17 3k (so good). another girl i was the same amount ahead of runs a 10:39 and a 4:51 1500. and another who i was with/sometimes 1 sec ahead of behind runs a 10:39 and a 5:00. don’t understand this.
maybe because i was injured so i’m out of shape? or maybe some people don’t thrive on the hills and i do?
