11 flat for reggie bush as a freshman?

the heisman curse. that's why i want bush to win it so bad. i want to see if can break it (i'm thinking yes) or if something happens. gayle sayers said bush reminds him of barry sanders. pretty good company from someone that presumably knows a bit about being a running back.

Willie Gault made a career in the nfl after a career as a track athlete. he played for the Bears.

Yes and he was a knighted doctor not a knighted runner. Amazing you could acheive that much in 2 different fields.

Desmond Howard does not support your argument in the list above.

Ricky Williams does not either (though this one is debatable.)

Dan Lincoln could easily play in the NFL if he wanted to. He would just need to pu ton some weight in terms of muscle. American football players in general are overrated athletes who may be paid well but most of them squader the money on bling, SUV's, bail money, child support, nose candy, other legal fees, drunk driving tickets etc.. etc...Perhaps this thread should be saved in a time capsule and we should see DAn Lincoln in 20 years versus Reggie Bush in 20 years....then see who has the last laugh..

Can you say Reggie Bush? Over 500 all-purpose yards by himself. Over 200 yds rushing in the first half. They've already put Bush's name on the Heisman. And Texas is going to get tossed up come the Rose Bowl.
