Can someone settle a debate for me (DC800 not allowed to answer).
Would you say that a character on the famed show "home improvement" was called "Mr Wilson"?
Just because the dude was named Wilson doesnt give you the right to start putting prefixes on his name says I.
If Tim "The Toolman" Talyor had called him "Mr Wilson" that would be one thing, but for some yuppie from the UP of the Midwest to call him that is a totally different story.
So, is it acceptable to call him Mr Wilson or should we stick with the oft used- Wilson.
Using the aforementioned Yuppie's logic one could start calling a certain Simpsons' character- "Mr Szyslak" but that just sounds downright wrong and deceitful.
I could be incorrect here but I doubt it. It would, however, mark the first time in the history of my being.
