      • Next year race organizers and city officials should combine the 'thon and Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade into one event. It would save the city some money and would make all other Turkey Trots look small.

        Yeah! Why should the local news be showing a segment with the 2017 Champion (along with Jenny Simpson) encouraging kids to run an hour before the able-bodied race starts?!?! The last thing we need is more kids running in this country

He's good at math and somewhat old school so Superior Slideruler Inc. in an effort to up their profile has signed Jared to a lucrative endorsement deal. For full disclosure Jared's wife's third cousin Hezekiah Romney is the owner. He himself is a distant cousin to Mitt.

      • Looks like it's pay per view in the UK on Eurosport -- the free coverage doesn't start until 5pm here on FreeSports. So it will cost you a tenner if you get a monthly pass. If anyone does know of any free ways to watch in the UK, do correct me!

      • It's actually chilly. 9 degrees at the moment, 12 by the finish. Glorious weather, just as it was in Amsterdam a few weeks ago.
