I disagree. I think a key component to successful summer training is cracking open the Bud Light Limes, 3-4 a night in June and 5 for July/August. A proper hydration schedule for ideal summer mileage would be:
1xcoffee in the morning
1xcoffee at lunchtime
Beer in the evening
As for Limes distribution, it's best to go 1 post run, 1 in the shower, 1 with dinner, and 2 on the back porch with the lads. This will prepare your body for post-race bar trips and binge drinking after your coach pisses you off.
