Net elevation drop of 246 feet, so it's not close to record quality. Too bad, because the start and finish aren't much more than one mile apart, and it seems that it would be easy to change to a record-quality course that ends closer to the start in Balboa Park, but I assume that the market for this kind of event prefers a faster course. Shalane's PR remains 1:08:31.
