      • Not for someone 15 days out from a marathon who also wants to run world indoors after that.

        It's actually a good opportunity for him to get in some marathon pace work when tired. I bet he'll do a few miles at marathon pace after the race.

        know of no live stream although someone was periscoping from one of the meets. I assume a lot of people will want to see how he looks without paying $20 to see it archived somewhere else.

      • I 100% disagree with this post. The opposite is true. The faster and sharper he is at 3k, the better he will do at the marathon. 7:45 3k or faster will make any marathon pace feel like a breeze.

        He still plans on running world indoor; does he already have the time qualifier (7:50)? I am too stoned/lazy to look up the qualifying window.

        If he does not, then the obvious plan here would be to run comfortably for a mid 7:4X. If he does, then my point is useless and should be ignored.
