        I was there for Carl Lewis 28'10 1/4" indoor at Madison Square Garden.

        Michael Johnson 19.66 200 at the 1996 Olympic Trials.

        I think I saw some Bubka indoor records at MSG, but memory fails.

      • I saw FloJo at the Trials in Indianapolis for her 100m record. It didn't look real. It was first of the quarter final rounds and when they flashed the time everyone gasped.

      • Saw flojo's 100 in '88 as well. People were shocked. Think king Carl ran 9.78ish directly after, but was drastically wind aided. Saw MJ's 19.66 at the '96 Trials as well.

      • Not T & F but I just saw the world record weight for height throw at the Arnold Classic. 56 lb ball over a bar at 19'3".

      • Bolt's 9.59 in Berlin in 2009. Call me selfish, but since then I've hoped that he would never run that fast again. :)

        Also was 1 min away from seeing Kerron Clement setting 400m World Indoor Record in Fayetteville AR 2005, outside doing my warmup and missed it...

      • I saw Johnson's 19.32 in Atlanta.
        absolutely stunning scene. It was hard to reconcile at first.
        I was sure that record would never be broken in my lifetime.

      • Khalid Khannouchi's marathon world record at Chicago 1999 in 2:05.42. First sub 2:06 marathon in history. My mom ran the marathon that year, and I worked the water stop at mile 24.5 right before they disappear into McCormick Place. Khalid was 10 meters behind Moses Tanui at the water stop and still behind when they entered McCormick Place, but emerged with a healthy lead and world record in sights.

      • Saw MJ run WR 200m in '96 Olympic final... it was electric...after 50m the race was over...it looked as if he was shot out of a cannon coming down the stretch...one of the most amazing performances I have ever witnessed.

      • Tirunesh Dibaba's indoor 5000m WR in Boston back in 2007. Loudest I have ever heard Reggie and stayed that way all the way through her race.
