It's waxed and waned over the past three years. Sometimes completely limiting, sometimes not. I'm pretty active, doing something just about every day (basketball, running, cycling, swimming, lifting) and I can continue to do most (not all) activities. I'm just limited.
Taking prescription anti-inflammatories actually works really well, but that's not obviously a long-term solution.
It's just always there.
I was misdiagnosed with Osteitis Pubis. I went through Physical Therapy a few times, which helped with the symptoms stemming from the sh, but not the root cause.
Really glad to have gotten a diagnosis of sh, but now trying to weed through the facts (mostly from this great thread) to decide about what to do next (whose procedure, where, etc).
