GREENSBORO -- You get the sense from ultramarathon runner Charlie Engle that he feels he was wronged.
But he won't talk about the fraud conviction against him until his sentencing hearing in Norfolk, Va., on Monday is complete. On Oct. 6, Engle was found guilty by a federal court jury of 12 counts of fraud in which he took $150,000.
"There is a part of the public who will say, 'That guy got what he deserved,' " said Engle, who declares himself as an honest person, sometimes brutally so.
