I have bought the book from the IAAF. Felt a little worried about sending card deatils via the post but i felt the book would be worth it. it was and is much more valuable than the 12 euro i spent on it! I strongly recommend it as a read.
It is brief (100pages) is light on photos (who needs them?) and is full of relevant well explained physiology, training programmes, specific examples on elite athletes and brilliant insights.
Only issue i had was the lack of a discussion on tapering.
