Sorry man, you're way off base, and actually you appear to just be making stuff up.
1. The weather was 63 degrees at the start, albeit with a dew point of 62. It was overcast for the entire duration of the half, and the sun didn't really come out until about 9-9:15am, so about 30-40 minutes after the elite half guys finished.
2. The OTC guys were most definitely doing a workout. They were talking to each other mid-race, and went out at over 5 minute pace.
3. When I finished, around 10am (so a good 1:25 after the OTC guys finished), it was about 70 degrees. It was maybe 66-67 degrees when those guys finished. Not 75, and certainly not 80.
4. Doesn't the fact that all of these guys finished at the exact same time kind of hint that maybe they weren't going all out? Or you just think they happened to be literally in the exact same shape on the same day?
