*MB: Weini Kelati Signs goes pro, signs with Under Armour
Kelati hasn't competed at all this year (she's too old for HS competition), but has been racing thee academic clock to graduate and compete in the NCAA next year (she'll compete for New Mexico).
It was the 4th fastest HS 3000 on a 200m track.
Kelati is a junior, but due to her age, this is her final year of high school eligibility.
Eritrean immigrant Weini Kelati won the top women's race, but Jessica Lawson in the "C" race actually had a faster time by 2-seconds. Team wise, FM boys and girls won easily.
Kelati represented Eritrea this summer placing 8th in the 3000 at WJs, but has now moved to the US to live with her cousin, a former Foot Locker finalist. She ran and won her first high school XC race this past weekend.
