Apparently workers at the finish line couldn't tell the difference between a 2:36 marathoner and a 2:36 half-marathoner.

Crouser is training with German national champ Thomas Rohler and will compete in several meets including the German championships.
Each team will draft 36 athletes (18 men, 18 women) and compete against each other in a scored meet at Hayward on July 29th. The meet will be live on ESPN.

Advocates of the hotel room tax which is meant to help subsidize Eugene 2021 have scaled back their request to try and gain support.
The more than 2,000 ton track is made-up of 1,400 pieces which will be disassembled this month and moved over and reassembled at the Oregon Convention Center.
