Reaction to the Iowa state association to declare their 800 record holder Kaley Ciluffo inelgible for competing in too many college meets. They also have barred World Junior team member Stephanie Jenks from competing in XC for the same rule.

So everybody was talking before hand and I was like ‘I miss this.’ ... I had so much fun running with Stephanie. One thing I love about high schoolers is they go for it. It’s not, ‘Oh, hey, let’s run a 6-minute mile,’ like I did. They jump in and they try and chase you. I had a really good time running like that.”
In the 3200 Thomas Pollard ran 8:50.43 to break a nearly 30-year old record just beating out Chandler Austin 8:51.74. A total of four guys ran under 9:02 at the meet.
Stephanie Jenks ran a US#1 4:28.72 for 1500 and a US#1 3K of 9:26.87 which broke Katie Flood's MR.
