Track events start on Tuesday and there will be some star power in the 100/200 with hometown phenom Andre De Grasse. After some recent struggles, can Nick Symmonds return to form? What about Galen Rupp, Cam Levins and the NOP? Are former NCAA stars Andrew Wheating and Robby Andrews back? The highlight is an incredibly deep 1,500 which contains former NCAA champs Wheating, Andrews, Leo Manzano, Mac Fleet, Nate Brannen and a slew of others.
Track fans, this one is loaded with former NCAA stars. That's the good news. The bad news is you gotta choose, this or Mayweather - Pacquiao. More bad news, HSer Grant Fisher might go sub-4 but it won't count - unless Stanford changes from a 1,500 to a mile in the next 24 hours.
McNamara runs 4:03 to beat Leo Manzano by less than a second with Trevor Dunbar 3rd. Gabriele Grunewald wins the women's race in 4:32 over Heather Kampf and Sarah Brown (both 4:33).
The women's field has Gabriele Grunewald, Sara Hall, Heather Kampf And Nicole Sifuentes.
