Lomong says that he wants to do the 5000/10,000 double next year in Tokyo.
Roesler won in 2:01.54 with NCAA indoor mile champ Edwards 2nd (2:01.97) and indoor 800 champ Rogers 3rd. Solomon ran 1:45.47 to beat NCAA runner-up Rutto (1:45.59) as well as Lopez Lomong and David Torrence.
Clayton Murphy and Ryan Martin both won their 800 heats as did Chanelle Price.

Abdalaati Iguider won the 3000 in 7:34.99 over Thomas Longosiwa (7:35.28) as Lawi Lalang (7:36.44), Ryan Hill (7:38.64) and Lopez Lomong (7:39.81) were 3-5. Agatha Jeruto Kimaswai won the women's 800 in 1:59.51 as Habiba Ghribi got another steeple win in 9:21.73.

The race was on by Germany's Carsten Schlangen in 3:38.85 as Peter Callahan was 5th (3:40.58) and German Fernandez a DNF. Michael Rutt won the 800 in 1:47.44 while Lopez Lomong was 4th (1:48.87).
