Brown failed to make the final today in her first race in a year after giving birth to a baby girl on March 4th.
Brown talks positively about the training she has been able to do while pregnant and is optimistic about being ready to go at the Olympic Trials this summer.
She missed Sarah Brown's 2:43.4 record by 1.96-seconds.
Before they knew she was pregnant her husband thought it was mental and Sarah said, "I thought I needed to woman up." Turned out she was 6-weeks pregnant.
She'll have the baby less than 15-weeks before the OT, but her husband and coach Darren Brown says, “I’ve seen her do a lot more with a lot less time."
She admits this wasn't a planned pregnancy as it will obviously impact her chances at the 2016 Olympic Trials, but she plans on still competing for an Olympic spot anyway.
