The team of Chanelle Price, Chrishuna Williams, Laura Roesler and Charlene Lipsey got a comfortable 3+ second win over Belarus, although their 8:16 winning time wouldn't have been fast enough to even podium at the last two World Relays.
Edwards had a solid 1500/800 double at Mt. SAC where she took down Oregon's Raevyn Rogers and finished right behind Laura Roesler. Mitchell-Blake ran the fastest wind-legal NCAA 100m of the year with 10.09 and was also on the NCAA leading 4x100.
Roesler won in 2:01.54 with NCAA indoor mile champ Edwards 2nd (2:01.97) and indoor 800 champ Rogers 3rd. Solomon ran 1:45.47 to beat NCAA runner-up Rutto (1:45.59) as well as Lopez Lomong and David Torrence.
Sean Barber won the men's PV in a world leading 5.91m while the women's saw Jenn Suhr scratch with a calf issue and Demi Payne break her pole and dislocate her thumb on her first attempt. Texas' Morolake Akinosun ran a WL in the 100 with 11.07 (1.9m/s) while David Oliver opened his season with a 110H win (13.44). Women's 1500: Dana Mecke in 4:15.93 over Laura Roesler (4:18.17). UTEP's Jonah Koech wins the mile (4:00.82).
