Bayer's 2016 is off to a good start as he ran 10-seconds faster at Millrose this year (7:42 3K) than he did last year. Bayer talks about that and why he made the change from 1500 to steeple after college.

Ryan Martin and Clayton Murphy were 1-2 in the 800 as Chanelle Price (800) and Kellyn Taylor (5000) also got gold. Overall, Team USA took home 47 medals (27 gold).

The race was on by Germany's Carsten Schlangen in 3:38.85 as Peter Callahan was 5th (3:40.58) and German Fernandez a DNF. Michael Rutt won the 800 in 1:47.44 while Lopez Lomong was 4th (1:48.87).
