Harrison won in a wind-aided 12.37 becoming the first to win the event three times in a row since Lolo Jones. Isiah Young won the men's 100 in 10.02 as Andre De Grasse ran his first race since tearing his hamstring last summer (4th in 10.15). Sandi Morris cleared 4.88m in the PV to beat out Jenn Suhr and Katie Nageotte while Devon Allen won over Aries Merrit in the 110H, Ryan Crouser took the SP and Georganne Moline won the 400H over Olympic champ Dalilah Muhammad.

"It feels like these people have been on a journey with me," said Simpson, who was born in Webster City and has won all 11 of her Drake races. "I felt a story here and the fans are a big part of it." Iowa State won both the men's and women's 4 x 800s in 7:27.98 and 8:36.51.

On the men's side, Andrew Irwin cleared 5.60m to got an upset victory over Shawn Barber (5.60m, lost on countback) and Sam Kendricks (5.50m).

McLeod faces Aries Merritt, Devon Allen and Aleec Harris while the women's race has Kori Carter, Jasmin Stowers, Kristi Castlin and Dawn Harper-Nelson.

De Grasse will face Mike Rodgers and World LJ silver medalist Jarrion Lawson.

LRC Drake Relays Will Feature A Challenge To The American Two Mile Record From Jenny Simpson

Shannon Rowbury has the current record at 9:20.25 from 2014. Along with the clock, Simpson will also race Brenda Martinez and Alexa Efraimsom.

More interesting than that though is that Olympic champ Ryan Crouser will go against high jumper Ricky Robertson in a dunk competition during halftime of a Drake basketball game.
