Matthew Centrowitz Delivers Again As Ben Blankenship Gets Revenge By Edging Leo Manzano For Final Olympic Spot
Centrowitz (3:34.09) took down the U.S. championship record in a fast race as Robby Andrews took second (3:34.88). Just as in 2015, it was Blankenship and Manzano battling to the finish, with Blankenship turning the tables for third in 3:36.18 to Manzano's 3:36.62.July 10, 2016
