USATF Distance Classic

The meet was a bit underwhelming as Caldwell was the only athlete to hit the World Championship standard on the night. In other action, Neil Gourley took down Cole Hocker and won the men’s 1500 in 3:35.43 and Evan Jager struggled over the final 150 in the men’s steeple and Emma Coburn ran 4:09 in the women's 1500. The most entertaining race of the night may have been the B heat of the men's 800 with Cooper Teare and HS sensation Colin Sahlman. 

HOKA NAZ Elite is Growing

The change is part of NAZ Elite's plan to more than double its size to 30 athletes and include more track-focused runners. Rosario will still write workouts for some of the group's veterans.

Houlihan's Ban Stands

Houlihan's Hail Mary prayer fell short and her nandrolone ban was upheld. She won't be able to compete again until January 14, 2025 but she tells LetsRun.com she's not done as a runner. "I do plan on being back in 2025 and resuming my career."

He had to work for it after running 9.99w in the prelims as Arthur Cisse ran 10.10. “I struggled a bit, I thought I would run better than in the semifinal. I’m lacking a bit that spark, I thought this week without training would help, but this is the first race of the year, there’s time before the worlds.” *Discuss
