According to Ezega.com, “Properties belonging to non-Oromo ethnic groups were attacked and businesses vandalized, burned, and looted by organized mobs in Shashemene, Arsi Negele, Robe, Adaba, Asasa, Ziway, and other towns of Oromia region. According to a police report, more than 200 people were killed in the protracted attacks following the death of a popular Oromo singer Hachalu Hundessa.”

LRC The Olympic Track & Field MVPs, Part I: 1896-1960 The 2020 Olympic track and field action was supposed to begin this week and we’re feeling nostalgic. Football has a Super Bowl MVP. Baseball has a World Series MVP. We need to have an Olympic MVP. Today, we name an Olympic MVP for every Olympics from 1896 to 1960.

Shaunae Miller-Uibo Dips Under 11 Seconds As Trayvon Bromell Beats Noah Lyles In Prelims With 9.90 (Lyles Wins Final In 9.93) Bromell ran 9.90 to in the heats (Lyles ran 10.04), but Bromell skipped the final, leaving Lyles to win over Andre De Grasse (9.97). Miller-Uibo won the final in 10.98 after running 11.03 in the heats. Akeem Bloomfield won the 400m in 45.07.
