$2,000 On The Line At Firecracker 5k With Shadrack Kipchirchir And Rojo And Jonathan Gault Announcing The LRC duo says they did a better job of commentating on the women’s race with Brittany Charboneau, Maggy Montoya, Elvin Kibet, Janelle Lincks and AnnMarie Kirkpatrick as there were no technical issues. The men’s race also included Jerrell MockFrank Lara, Eric Hamer, Girma Mecheso. Includes great drone footage.

LRCI Was Bored, So I Watched Lynn Jennings Win 1992 World XC On Home Soil In honor of Jennings’ 60th birthday, we throw it back to 1992, where Jennings won her third straight World XC title on the same course she claimed the Massachusetts state title in 1975. The other races were packed with stars as well. Kenya’s John Ngugi became the first man to win five World XC titles, while the junior races featured future stars Paula RadcliffeHaile Gebrselassie, and Hicham El Guerrouj. It was quite a day.

LRC Elise Cranny (14:48.02) And Sean McGorty (13:11.22) Lead Fast Times For Bowerman Track Club Intra-Squad Meet In Portland Cranny and Frerichs moved to 7th and 8th on the US all-time list while Sean McGorty ran a 13:11.22 world lead to beat Grant Fisher and Evan Jager.
