LRC USA Track And Field’s Pan Am Debacle Gets Even Weirder – An Arbitrator Has Apparently Ruled Against USATF But Only In Certain Events Scott Simmons‘ Section 9 grievance was successful but it only applies to the men’s steeple and 10,000 which means he now has athletes going to Pan Ams based on both sets of rules – the ones he appealed against and the original ones. #Notjoking

LRCUp To 39 Athletes May Have Had Their Spots On Team USA Denied Thanks To USATF’s Incompetence; Hear Some Of Their Stories Here In December, USATF head Max Siegel and two others signed a 20-page document saying USATF would pick the Pan Am team off of 2019 times – then USATF didn’t do that and many are devastated as a result. Some of those athletes share the anguish of what it feels like to wrongfully be denied a spot on Team USA.

LRC/RRW: Brigid Kosgei (30:22) and Rhonex Kipruto (27:01) Break Course Records and Win $50,000 Bonuses at 50th Peachtree Road Race Kipruto dominated the men’s race, leading pretty much wire-to-wire, to break the record by just 3 seconds with his brother, Bravin Kiptoo, finishing runner-up in 27:29. On the women’s side, it was an exciting three-way battle on the final straight with Kosgei collapsing at the line after just nipping former world XC champ Agnes Tirop.
