– Travis Tygart, head of US anti-doping, writing in a guest column in the New York Times about the Russian doping scandal. In the column, Tygart is very harsh on WADA for not being relentless in its fight and for not being truly independent. WADA’s “governing rules allow its board members also to serve in an executive capacity for sports organizations” and “this inevitably gives rise to conflicts of interest.”
