At 1980 Olympics Rudolfo Gomez covered 20K (1:03:42) to 25K (1:17:55) in 14:13, only 4 seconds slower than Wilson Kipsang’s split (of 20 to 25K) from 2012 London marathon.

Last time WR were set in both men's and women's 4x100mR was back in 1972 Olympic Games
