IAAF Proposes "White Pride Parade" To Follow World Cross Country Championships Every Year By LetsRun.com (Lausanne, SWI) - Citing the low morale of white people following the world cross country championships, IAAF president Lamine Diack has proposed that each year a "white pride parade" will be held in the host city after the race. The parade, designed to lift the morale of white distance runners the world over, will feature floats with slogans such as "30th place is still the 2nd non-African!" and "50 Years Ago I Would Have Won!" and "I Swear, I really Think I Might Medal Someday!" and "In no way is this depressing!" Also, white runners who used to win distance races will be on hand, those that are still alive at least. Guests will include Bill Rodgers, Frank Shorter, Seb Coe and Roger Bannister.
