$1000 prize for sub 4:00 mile in Warwick, NY Press Release This is a new updated race with some 4:00 milers already committed to race. Contact the email address for more information. The Purple Wave Foundation has just announced a cash award of $1000 for the first finisher under 4:00 in the open mile to be run immediately after the Fast Times Track Classic on Monday, June 1st. The meet is held on the "Tim St. Lawrence Speedway" track at Warwick Valley High School in Warwick, NY. The entry fee is $25.00 and entitles you to all you can eat at the award winning concession stand. The field will be limited to the top 12 -14 who can verify that they have run under 4:10. The purple Wave Foundation is adding a $1000 award for the
first woman to run under 4:35 in the open mile run immediately after
the Fast Times Track Classic to be held at Warwick Valley HS in
Warwick, NY on Monday June 1st. Race time is approximately 9:30pm. The
race will be sanctioned by usatf. An entry fee of $25.00 is requested.
