Meb Keflezighi's New York City Marathon Win Garnering a Lot of National Media Attention

by: LetsRun.com
November 3, 2009

Meb Keflezighi's win in the 2009 ING NYC Marathon has garnered a lot of press in the mainstream media. Meb was the first American winner in 27 years of the NYC Marathon and his family's amazing success after immigrating to America is a great story. Meb so far has personally appeared on the Today Show, David Letterman, CNN and more. Plus we've got a screen shot showing he was the sixth most searched term on Yahoo.

His win has been the subject of jokes and commentary on The Colbert Report (on whether Meb was "American") and the Tonight Show.

We've got all the video below. If you've seen Meb elsewhere feel free to email us so we can update the page.
