by: LetsRun.com
June 24, 2007

Part I (6:45)

Alan talks about using strength and distance training as being the way to escape some of his early problems in the 1500m that started his freshman year at Michigan. Plus he talks about his speed, Bernard Lagat, the rest of his summer, and the talent of the 1500m guys in the United States.

Part II (10:17)

Webb discusses with talking with Bernard Lagat before the race to share the pace, his nerves on running nationals after his subpar Prefontaine 2 mile, and how his struggles at the University of Michigan helped make him the runner he is today.
