KBC Nacht Meeting: Ben True Gets IAAF Standard As Eric Jenkins Explodes To A 13:07 And Lauren Johnson Destroys Her PR To Make Worlds On A Night Full Of Fast American Running

True ran 13:06 to seal the deal for worlds with Jenkins right behind him in a huge PR. Abbey D’Agostino PRd at 5000 as did Johnson to punch her ticket to worlds in the 1500. Other big names in action included Dejen Gebremeskel, Chris Derrick, Emily Sisson, Mary Cain, PVer Sandi Morris andLolo Jones. Check out how they did.

Abbey D'Agostino And Will Geoghegan Are Dominant Winners At 2015 Cork City Sports International Athletics Meeting

Mary Cain led from 1k to 2k in the women's 3k but Abbey D dominated the final 900. In other action, Brett Robinson won the battle of 13:21 SBs with Jeff See in the men's 3,000 and Michael Rutt and Heather Kampf won the 800s.

It's Settled: Cheserek Is The King

No one was holding anything back in this one and in the end Oregon's Edward Cheserek was simply too good for teammate Eric Jenkins over the final 100 as he won his 8th NCAA title in 13:48.67. Jenkins was second and Will Geoghegan was fourth to give Oregon 23 points and seal a second straight team title.
