*Ben True Pulls Out Of B2B With Fatigue From Standard USAs/Standard Chasing In Europe Many top Kenyans (including Patrick Maka and Emily Chebet) also pulled out of the race due to the sudden death of their agent, Zane Branson.

The Morton Mile is headlined by Aussies Jeff Risley and Ryan Gregson as well as Americans Jordan McNamara, Pat Casey, Mac Fleet and Ford Palmer. Aisha Praught and Shelby Houlihan lead the women's mile. Robby Andrews is in the men's 800 while NZ's WUG champ Angela Petty leads the women's race with USA's Lauren Wallace. Andy Vernon vs Will Geoghegan in the 3000.

True ran 13:06 to seal the deal for worlds with Jenkins right behind him in a huge PR. Abbey D’Agostino PRd at 5000 as did Johnson to punch her ticket to worlds in the 1500. Mary Cain led from 1k to 2k in the women's 3k but Abbey D dominated the final 900. In other action, Brett Robinson won the battle of 13:21 SBs with Jeff See in the men's 3,000 and Michael Rutt and Heather Kampf won the 800s.

What a race. Matt Centrowitz destroyed everyone with the largest margin of victory since 2004, Robby Andrews had an incredible kick, and Leo Manzano had his 10th straight top 3 finish.

No one was holding anything back in this one and in the end Oregon's Edward Cheserek was simply too good for teammate Eric Jenkins over the final 100 as he won his 8th NCAA title in 13:48.67. Jenkins was second and Will Geoghegan was fourth to give Oregon 23 points and seal a second straight team title.

Oregon's Edward Cheserek and Eric Jenkins are the favorites to go 1-2 in the 5,000 and 10,000 at NCAAs. But will they race all-out against each other? And can anyone like Jason Witt, Kemoy Campbell, Justyn Knight, Patrick Tiernan or Thomas Awad  possibly break them up?

Two hours after wondering if Edward Cheserek would ever lose another NCAA race, Cheserek lost, but was it on purpose? This one will be debated forever.

The futures of American seniors Eric Jenkins and Emily Sisson look very bright as they both got their first NCAA titles in the 5,000m.

Neither Jenkins (7:44/13:18) nor Sisson (15:12 CR) has won an NCAA individual title, but that is likely to change on Friday night in Fayetteville.

Cheserek will be tired (he's also entered in the DMR Friday and the mile earlier on Saturday) but Oregon will be hoping that he and top seeds Eric Jenkins (7:44.91) and Will Geoghegan (7:45.71) can deliver big points in the final individual event. Scott, runner-up to Abbey D'Agostino last year, will try to prevent Sisson from completing the 3k/5k double.

Eric Jenkins and Will Geoghegan aren't even Oregon's best 3000m runners but they went 1-2 at Millrose and nearly broke Galen Rupp's American collegiate record.
