Day 7 Recap: Dafne Schippers & Ashton Eaton Set the Track on Fire; Tianna Bartoletta Wins LJ Gold with PB on Final Attempt

Schippers' 21.63 set a meet record and made her the third-fastest woman of all-time. Jamaica's Elaine Thompson ran 21.66 (#5 all-time) but had to settle for silver as 3 women broke 22.00 in the same race for just the second time ever. Eaton ran 45.00 for 400 during the decathlon (best-ever during a decathlon) and could challenge his WR on Saturday.

Tunisia's Habiba Ghribi beat Ayalew (2nd) and Emma Coburn (5th) in the race, but Ayalew still won the DL title and the $40,000 prize that goes with it.
