Suguru Osako destroyed Galen Rupp over the final 400 of the 10,000 and then became a legend by running the B heat of the 10,000 immediately afterward.  In the steeples, Courtney Frerichs looked great in her second steeple of the year while Sean McGorty did not take a step forward.

Alberto and Galen were notably absent but the stars were out in full force at the Portland Track Festival with Shannon Rowbury, Steve Magness, the Gouchers, Alan Webb, Kevin Hanson, Desi Davila, Mark Wetmore, Shalane Flanagan, Evan Jager, Chris Solinsky, and many more in attendance. Employee 1.0 is back to recount the surreal scene in light of the Nike Oregon Project Doping investigation.

Evan Jager surprised even himself with a 3:32.97 clocking at the Portland Track Festival as Garrett Heath helped make the race. In other action, Shannon Rowbury nearly ran an 800 pb and then doubled back in the 1500 just 12 minutes later, Cam Levins got the standard in the 5000 as Chris Derrick struggled, and Andy Bayer got the standad in the steeple.

And Kara Goucher beat Jordan Hasay as Kara returned to the track for the first time in nearly 2 years and Jordan for the first time outdoors in 2015.

Men's 10K has Jake Robertson, Japan NOP member Osako Suguru and Rupp is also listed (maybe pacing?).

Mo Farah returned to the track and showed great finishing speed. Andrew Wheating returned as well with a win and said he's "back" and Jordan Hasay got double wins with impressive last laps. Plus the steeple debut of Andy Bayer, wins by Bridget Franek, Cas Loxsom and Kate Grace in a tshirt.
