2014 Chicago Marathon Women's Preview: Rita Jeptoo Attempts to Win Fourth Straight World Marathon Major
After a 2:18:57 CR in Boston in April, a win by Jeptoo would give her the best two-year run since Paula Radcliffe set two WRs and won three majors from 2002-2003., but it will be far from easy as marathon world record holder Florence Kiplagat and 2:19:52 woman Mare Dibaba will both try to beat Jeptoo to the finish line in Grant Park. The American contingent is led by Olympian Amy Hastings and Clara Santucci, who won the Pittsburgh Marathon in May, as Lisa Uhl looks to try to start the resurrection of her career.

Loaded fields Set For 2014 Chevron Houston Marathon - Aramco Houston Half Marathon To Host USA Half Marathon Championships
Meb Keflezighi leads a men's half field that includes Aaron Braun, Luke Puskedra, Shadrack Biwott and Josphat Boit. The women are led by Adriana Nelson, Serena Burla, Sara Hall, Mattie Suver and Lisa Uhl. Defending champion Bazu Worku (2:05:25) leads the men's marathon field while Afework Bekele (2:23:59) leads the women.

Sam Chelanga Wins 77th Manchester Road Race As Aaron Braun Is 2nd And Donn Cabral 4th
Former NCAA mile champ Miles Batty was 9th. Kenyan Alice Kamuny won the women's race as Desi Davila was 5th and Lisa Uhl 9th.
