The event ended up being a bit of a misnomer as few qualifying times were earned as 11 days after 7 degree temps (-13.9 C) were in Austin, warm and humid conditions (73 degrees (22.9C), 65 dew point, 76% humidity) made fast times difficult in the long distance events. But Klosterhalfen and Wilson were impressive as was 5000 meter man Justyn Knight (3:36.62) who dropped down and spanked the milers in the 1500.

Tuohy and Cain will face off in the 3000m along with last year's winner Amanda Eccleston and Emily Lipari. Robby Andrews, Erik Sowinski, Isaiah Harris are in the men's 800m while Ajee Wilson leads the women's race. Knight is in the mile.

Ben True (13:44) and Justyn Knight (13:46) were 2nd and third as Kim Conley took top American honors in the women's race in fourth (15:36).

Though the group will be called the Reebok Boston Track Club, the club's training base will actually be in Charlottesville, Virginia. This marks a big move for Reebok, which had basically gotten out of running over the last decade.

The quality of the NCAA track and field action in the year 2018 is insane. It's so good that collegiate superstars like Michael Saruni (1:43 pb), Grant Fisher (NCAA 5k champ), Justyn Knight (NCAA xc & more) and Karissa Schweizer (NCAA xc & more) all suffered losses at their conference championships last week.

In other action, Henrik Ingebrigtsen (Jakob's brother) won the 5k over Riley Masters, Sara Vaughn won the 1500, and Shadrack Kipchirchir won the 5000m.

As impressive as Josh's run was, Jim Ryun ran 3:33.1 as a collegiate sophomore 51 years ago but it wasn't during the collegiate season.

Come on admit it, after the 5ks, you just assumed that both Knight and Schweizer would easily complete the 5k/3k double, but that didn't hapen as somehow Trouard, who had never scored at NCAAs before finishing 5th in the 5k, beat Knight.

Justyn Knight easily had the best kick in the men's race whereas Karissa Schweizer won her race in a totally different manner - by leading every single lap and then throwing down a 4:38.33 final 1600!

An incredible Saturday for track and field fans will come to an end with a fantastic NYRR Millrose Games - the 111th edition.

Today, 60 years, seven months, and 26 days after Don Bowden first ran 3:58.7, Emmanuel Bor became the 500th American to break 4:00 with an eerily similar time - 3:58.77. Despite the sub-4:00 club's expanding membership, it remains a rare feat. Five hundred people (actually 501; Western Oregon's David Ribich joined the club three hours later) in a country of over 320 million represents an exceedingly small number. For comparison, there are more billionaires in the country (540 as of 2016) than sub-4:00 milers.

Oh baby. We hope you are ready. Indoor track is BACK in a BIG WAY with action all over the US. In Boston, American Shadrack Kipchirchir wants to run the low 7:30s in the same race where the LRC singlet will be looking for a big PB. In NY, Ajee Wilson and Charlene Lipsey go for the AR and Robby Andrews and Clayton Murphy clash over 800.  In Seattle, these big names will be racing - Galen Rupp, Yomif Kejelcha, Shalane Flanagan, and Sifan Hassan. Plus marathoners Scott Smith & Aaron Braun chase sub-4:00.

Sprinters Omar McLeod and Shaunae Miller-Uibo were also announced.
