On the men's side, Andrew Irwin cleared 5.60m to got an upset victory over Shawn Barber (5.60m, lost on countback) and Sam Kendricks (5.50m).  

They'll also be up against world indoor record holder Jenn Suhr.

The United States' first street meet is in the books. The atmosphere was great but not everyone was a fan of the temporary track. Yohan Blake was candid in the mixed zone afterwards, calling the track "atrocious." That's not all he was candid about as he also said that the Russians should be given a second chance in Rio and explained how God told him to give up "The Beast" nickname. Day 1 will be on the track and include the traditional Dream Mile and Dream 100 while day 2 will be a "street meet". Nick Willis, Mesert Defar, Yohan Blake and Jenn Suhr are the elites announced so far.

It only took Lavillenie two jumps to wrap up pole vault gold, but that didn't stop him from entertaining the Portland crowd with a new meet record and three thrilling attempts at the the world record. On the women's side, it was an all-American battle for gold as Suhr and Sandi Morris went 1-2.

The future is very bright for the US in the vault and high jump.

Defar, who surprisingly revealed she plans to run the 10,000 at the Olympics, will run the 3k on Sun., her first track race since Aug. '13. She added a centimeter to her own WR while competing at a low key college invy in Brockport, NY.

A highlight will be the addition of an elite women's 800 with Brenda Martinez and Ajee Wilson. Other top names competing include Renaud Lavillenie, Jenn Suhr, LaShawn Merritt vs Kirani James and a deep 110H and HJ competition.

 12:30-2:15pm for the vault with a youth clinic after with Yohan Blake and Mo Greene.

Manzano and Willis will face-off in the mile while Cain is racing 2000m and Gebriwet in the 3000m. Jenn Suhr and Ryan Whiting will also compete at the meet.
