Michigan Women Dominate 2014 Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown; BC's Liv Westphal Gets Individual Title

Michigan went 2-3-8 (Erin Finn, Shannon OsikaBrook Handler) to win on the women's side scoring 55 to runner-up Georgetown's 77. Syracuse (134) and Boston College (192) were a distant third and fourth.

Oregon Men Dominate Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown; Edward Cheserek and Eric Jenkins Go 1-2

Cheserek and Ducks teammate Eric Jenkins went 1-2 in a slow men's race (winning time: 24:20) as Oregon put four in the top six en route to a dominant win. The Ducks scored 24 to runner-up Syracuse's 52, with Providence (79) and Georgetown (103) rounding out the top four.

2014 Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown Preview

Cross country really gets going this weekend with the Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown and the Roy Griak Invitational in Minnesota. We tell you what to watch out for on Friday in Boston, where Edward Cheserek and the No. 3 Oregon men will take on No. 8 Syracuse on the site of Cheserek's first NCAA victory one year ago. In the women's race, No. 1 Michigan faces No. 5 Georgetown, defending national champions No. 18 Providence and three other ranked teams.
