A Very Nice Day in Boston: Beadlescomb & Kessler Win 2023 B.A.A 5K/Mile Titles
The wins by Morgan Beadlescomb (13:25) and Hobbs Kessler (4:07) should bring a smile to coach Ron Warhurst's face. Krissy Gear (4:39) and Mekides Abebe (15:01) took the women's titles.

RRW: Morgan Beadlescomb (13:25) And Mekides Abebe (15:01) Win BAA 5K In Sprint Finishes
18 men were still together in the final kilometer with Beadlescomb outkicking Ben Flanagan by one second. Ethiopia's World steeple bronze medalist Abebe won by one second as well over Kenya's World XC bronze medalist Agnes Ngetich.

2019 BAA 5K: Hagos Gebrhiwet (13:42) Repeats as Monicah Ngige (15:16) Runs Away From Women's Field
Ben True (13:44) and Justyn Knight (13:46) were 2nd and third as Kim Conley took top American honors in the women's race in fourth (15:36).

2018 BAA 5K: Hagos Gebrhiwet (13:42) & Buze Diriba (15:22) Pull Off Ethiopian Sweep
Ben True and Tommy Curtin tried to take advantage of a missed turn by Gebhriwet let but were unable to pull off the victory. Plus Aidan Puffer of Manchester, Connecticut set a new age-13 world record of 15:47.
*MB: Americans go home devastated: Hagos G (13:42) and Buze Diriba (15:22) win 2018 BAA 5k.

Saturday: Ben True (3-Time Winner) And Molly Huddle (2-Time Winner) Will Defend Their Titles At The BAA 5K
True will face Olympic silver medalist Dejen Gebremeskel, Stephen Sambu and Diego Estrada while Huddle is up against Kim Smith and Buze Diriba (14:50 PB). Also Saturday, Chris O'Hare, Trevor Dunbar, Dawit Seyaum (2nd at World Indoors) and Heather Kampf lead the way in the BAA Mile.
