The 2019 NYRR Millrose Games are in the books and we take a look back at them in this podcast.

Kemoy Campbell’s condition has improved and we start by thinking of him, before turning to Yomif Kejelcha coming so close to breaking the world record in the mile. We discuss who should rabbit him in his next attempt and then get LRC coaching guru John Kellogg to join us and convert Eamonn Coghlan’s 3:49 on a 10 lap to the mile track. Then we ponder if cable TV killed the big arena indoor track circuit in America.

We then turn to Shelby Houlihan skipping World XC and the convulated system of qualifying for Worlds on the track, touch on Edward Cheserek’s citizenship situation and then discuss Julien Wanders 59:13 half-marathon.

Article continues below player.

We bring back listener audio and whether the LRC staff needs sensitivity training. Finally we conclude with pros Robby Andrews, Kyle Merber and Crait Lutz read mean LetsRun.com Posts
