Galen Rupp (1:02:18) And Meseret Defar (1:08:45) Get Comfortable Wins At Rock ‘N’ Roll Philly Half

Galen Rupp got a nice tune-up for next month’s Bank of America Chicago Marathon with an easy victory at the Rock N Roll half marathon in 1:02:18 over former Syracuse star Martin Hehir. 2016 Rio Olympian Jared Ward was 5th in 1:04:43.
On the women’s side it was more competitive but Meseret Defar got a comfortable win in 1:08:45 over Caroline Rotich and Jordan Hasay.
