Stanley Kebenei Shows the Drama of the Trials, “I don’t know what to say, I just missed my lifetime chance…Oh my god”

Stanley Kebenei was in second place heading into the final water barrier in the 3000m steeplechase the 2016 US Olympic Track and Field Trials. He ended up in 13th place. The former Arkansas Razorback knew he may not get another chance like it. His interview below shows firsthand how the Trials are a whole another level of importance and pressure for athletes. We have it set to start at the part where he says, “I don’t know what to say, I just missed my lifetime chance…That was a lifetime chance. I know i missed that. Oh my god” before having to walk off.
