EUGENE, Ore. — NCAA third-placer and Oregon freshman Blake Haney used a 52.92-second last lap to take down high schoolers Drew Hunter and Grant Fisher to win the junior boys’ 1500 title at the 2015 USATF Outdoor Championships in 3:58.16. Just as he did a week ago at the Brooks PR Invite in Seattle, Hunter, a high school junior, defeated the Stanford-bound Fisher. Prior to last week, Fisher hadn’t lost to another high schooler since his sophomore year. Now he’s lost twice in two weeks.
