2013 PSD Bank Meeting Features Top Notch Men’s 800 and 1,500

Later today, a sold out track and field meet – the “PSD Bank Meeting” – will place at the Athletics Hall at Arena Sportpark in Duesseldorf, Germany. One of the highlights of the meet will be the men’s 800 which the meet is billing as the “world’s top” meaning the “world’s best” for 2013 indoors.

The race which takes palce at 2:40 pm ET features 2012 Olympic bronze medallist and Kenya junior record holder Timothy Kitum, the man who briefly had Kenya’s junior record last year Abraham Rotich (4th at Kenyan Trials, 1:43.13), the fastest indoor runner of 2012 Adam Kszczot, Spanish record holder Kevin Lopez and 2004 Olympic champ Yuriy Borzakovskiy. The meeting also includes a top men’s 1500 (1:35 pm ET) where Djibouti’s Ayanleh Souleiman will clash with Kenya’s Bethwel Birgen.
