Perhaps you tried to access the site yesterday and saw it was shut down. Well this time our host wasn't joking. They had complained in the past that our message board script uses too many system resources and had taken down our message boards. Well, this time they said they were shutting down our site for good. But we are good beggars and whiners and we acted innocent and charmed them into putting up our site again. However, they made it clear that the message board script had to go.
So instead of closing LetsRun.com for good we figured we should listen to them. We loved our message board script in the past because it allowed threaded message views. But very few do. In the meantime, we have searched around and found a new message board that is acceptable. It is at http://letsrun.community.everyone.net/
However, we hope this is a very short interim solution. There is another message board we love even more than our old one, but to put it up we would have to look at getting our own server. This is an expensive proposition that we are beginning to look into.
In the meantime, please post at the new board above. Soon we will have it so you can search the old messages from our old board so that the trove of information is still available.
