Its been proven without any doubt that there is no benefit mechanically to warming up a car or leaving it running "to keep the engine warm".
Look at UPS, the largest operator in the world of Diesel engines, the driver turns off the engine for the 20 seconds it takes to drop a package on your porch.
Yet it is a class cultural norm for lower income people to warm up their cars and let them idle for hours. Remote car starters are a total waste of gas and money.
Why do third rate trolls start posts with “why do lower class people...”?
Because class differences are interesting. Peoples values and decisions prevent them from being socially mobile. Every person spends a day making hundreds of small decisions that ollectively keep them locked on the rung of the socio economic ladder they were born on.
